Flights, car rental and accommodations are relatively cheaper compared to other major cities in the US, because they want you to just get there, stay and of course spend your money in casinos.
The main area to visit in Vegas is the Las Vegas Strip, an area of about three miles long, along the Las Vegas blvd.
All of the world famous Las Vegas Casinos and their unique foods, shows and attractions are in this area.

Don’t Book Accommodation Off the Las Vegas Strip
I do not recommend booking hotels outside of Las Vegas Strip, because most of attractions are in Strip, so you will waste time and money for just going back and forth to Strip.
Be aware of Resort Fees
Las Vegas resorts and casino charge extra fees per night, per person as resort fee. They charge this fee because they let you enjoy their facility. Very few hotels don’t charge resort fee and all are outside of Strip.
A pair of comfortable shoes is a must
You will be walking a lot in Vegas from place to place. This is not a place to put on high heel at all unless you are going to a concert or special event.
Purchase shows/attractions tickets with discounts

Book your favorite activities in advance
There are plenty of options in shows and events in Las Vegas, you are in good hands, but if you wish to attend a specific attractions on a specific day, Make sure to book it advance specially during high season.
Don’t spend all of your time on Las Vegas Strip
Outside of the Las Vegas Strip, you can spend some time in Las Vegas DownTown and if you are a nature lover nice state parks and national parks are close to Vegas for a day trip. Check out the following section.
Use Las Vegas Explorer Pass
Pro Tip: Choose 3-4 attraction pass if visiting for a couple of days
Consider 5 or 7 attraction pass if staying more than 3 days.

You will never know what you will encounter when walking down the Las Vegas Strip. Prepare and have an open mind. Simply ignore what you would not like.
August is the hottest month and the least busiest time of the year. Spring and Fall are the best time to enjoy the outside weather.
