To visit the south side, it is better to choose a time other than summer, because the it is burning hot. Also summer season is the busiest season of the year and therefore, the cost of staying in hotels around this attraction increases a lot. However it turns into a very cozy and pleasant place with pleasant and cool air in the fall and spring seasons.
In the other hand, North side of the Grand Canyon has cool and pleasant weather in the summer season due to its high altitude. Also less busier compared to South Rim. But keep in mind that due to the weather, it is not possible to visit the north side from mid-October to early May.
To see the Western Grand Canyon, don’t go summer season, unless you are used to hot and sunny weather. Late fall to mid-spring is the best time to visit the Grand Canyon West.
How to go to the Grand Canyon
To access the Grand Canyon, you can take a flight to Las Vegas or Flagstaff Airport, Arizona – which is in a short distance from the Grand Canyon South. Note that you must rent a car to visit this place, because there is no public transportation in this area.
